The low -lead brass could've fool me as stainless steel. It is highly polished and just has the presence of a real watch. It comes on a short single pass NATO that seems to be targeted for a six to seven inch wrist (on the short side); but I can still wear it on the last pin hole. The materials used on the NATO actually are very good; it totally surprised me, the hardware and stitching is of good quality.
Even though it is a 38mm case, it does not look small on my 7 3/4 wrist. I traded a 38mm Auto Fossil because it looked ridiculously small; but this one feels and looks right at home. Noise level, I would rated it at 2 on a scale from 1 to 10 .. ten being the loudest. You can hear it clearly if you put your ear next to it, but just a few inches away the noise is gone. It did not bother my wife last night and she is a light sleeper.
Indiglo is very bright without being overpowering to the eyes. Snoopy becomes a bit different shade of green/blue. I got this for my wife; the only thing missing to have been a perfect watch is Woodstock. Big miss on that one!
All in all, this is a great score from Timex and hoping to see more characters added to the collection. Thumbs Up!
